Our articles, guides, regional hubs, shell records, and beach pages are published for general interest and education. Shell identification information describes typical features and can never be a guarantee of correct identification. Beach and shelling information — including tides, seasons, access, and conditions — changes constantly and is not safety, navigational, legal, or scientific advice.

Always check current local conditions, tide forecasts, access rules, and shell and wildlife collection regulations before you go. Never collect living animals where doing so is prohibited. You are responsible for your own safety and for following the law where you are.

Curated shell boxes are sold by Tidal Keepsakes and checked out through Shopify, whose own checkout terms apply to the transaction. Shipping, cancellation, and final-sale terms are set out on our Shipping & Returns page and form part of these terms.

Every box is made up of natural shells, so colour, pattern, size, and markings vary from the photographs shown. We may correct pricing or listing errors, and we may decline or cancel an order where an error has occurred.

Our downloadable guides and printables remain the property of Tidal Keepsakes. You may download them, print them, and share the original PDF file with other people as-is.

You may not, without our written permission:

• Sell, resell, or otherwise charge for our PDFs, or include them in a paid product, membership, or bundle.
• Modify a PDF and distribute the modified version.
• Relicense or sublicense the files to anyone.
• Present the material as your own work or remove our name, branding, or ownership notices.

The written content, photography, illustrations, layouts, and downloadable files on this site are owned by Tidal Keepsakes or used with permission. Aside from the PDF sharing described above, you may not copy, republish, or redistribute our content for commercial purposes without written permission. Short quotations with credit and a link back are welcome.

When you use the contact form, please send accurate information and nothing unlawful, abusive, or infringing. Contact messages are handled as described in our Privacy Policy, including automatic deletion after 12 months.

Please do not attempt to access administrator areas or accounts you are not authorised to use, interfere with the site's operation, scrape it in a way that disrupts service, or use it for anything unlawful.

The site relies on outside services including Shopify for checkout, Amazon for affiliate purchases, and Pinterest for social features. Their own terms and policies govern your use of those services.
